Clean up vacant lands before May 20
Guntur Municipal Corporation additional commissioner K Ramachandra Reddy directed the Revenue officials to take steps to clean the vacant lands in Guntur city immediately. He instructed them to give notices to the owners of the vacant lands. He addressed the Revenue officials in the GMC council hall here on Thursday.

The additional commissioner set the May 20 as the deadline for cleaning the vacant lands in the city. He added that if the owners of the vacant lands have not cleaned their land within stipulated time, penalty would be imposed. He said that the sanitary inspectors are responsible for the cleaning the vacant lands.
He suggested the officials to conduct fogging in the side canals. He instructed them to prepare an action plan for conducting anti-larva operations in the city.
He asked them to upload details of the pensioners under the NTR Bharosa Scheme.
He also instructed them to include details of the pensioners in the Praja Sadhikara Survey. He suggested them to collect the details of the vacant lands with the help of the bill collectors.
He directed the officials to issue notices to the traders to pay D&O trade license fee.
