Traffic recovery vehicle inaugurated

Guntur Urban superintendent of police, Ch.Vijaya Rao inaugurated a Traffic Recovery Vehicle in a programme held in the DPO in Guntur city on Friday. The cost of the vehicle is Rs.26.5 lakh.
Guntur: Guntur Urban superintendent of police, Ch.Vijaya Rao inaugurated a Traffic Recovery Vehicle in a programme held in the DPO in Guntur city on Friday. The cost of the vehicle is Rs.26.5 lakh.
The traffic police will use the vehicle to tow the vehicles parked at no-parking places and vehicles parked on the roads causing inconvenience to the people. Similarly, this vehicle will be used for towing the vehicles at the time of visit of VIPs.
The SP urged the people to follow traffic rules and cooperate with the police. He reminded that they are enforcing the compulsory helmet rule to reduce accident deaths. He instructed the traffic police to use the traffic recovery van for towing the vehicles.
