,Guntur: AgriGold Customers and Agents Welfare Association honorary president Muppalla Nageswara Rao demanded the government to extend helping hand to the AgriGold victims. He addressed a meeting held in the Mallaiahlingam Bhavan in Guntur city on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that to mount pressure on the government, they will conduct Chalo Secretariat programme on May 30. He reminded that the government has given Rs.5-lakh ex gratia to the kin of those who committed suicide.

He recalled that though the government constituted a committee with three ministers, they did not meet once.He demanded the government to give Rs 3,965 crore to extend helping hand to the depositors. He recalled that so far 180 depositors committed suicide in the state.

He also said Chalo Secretariat programme will start at Sri Venkateswara Vignana Mandiram in Guntur city on May 30. He urged to make this programme a success. He said that this yatra will start from Sri Venkateswara Vignan Mandiram will pass through Mangalagiri town to Secretariat.
