sscHyderabad: The annual SSC examinations were over on Saturday without any major hindrances or complaints from students. According to Board of Secondary Education release, a total of 574 students were debarred for resorting to mass copying and other malpractices. The debarred students will be punished according to the gravity of the act of the student to be decided by a panel, according to Dr Manmadha Reddy, Director of Government Exams. Even the invigilators were not spared for dereliction of duty. As many as 232 invigilators were relieved and another 19 were suspended for helping students in copying. 14 chief superintendents and six departmental officers were also relieved from duties. The Board said that spot valuation would be conducted between April 12 and 25 and by May 20, it is likely that the results would be released.
