New Delhi: The Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) leaders, comprising of K Kodandaram, Srinivas Prasad, Devi Prasad and others, led by Delhi TJAC Convener Ramakrishna Reddy, met BJP President Rajnath Singh. The TJAC leaders invited Rajnath Singh to join the Chalo Sansad programme of the TJAC in the Capital on April 29-30.
BJP President Rajnath Singh told the TJAC leaders that the Congress does not seem to be inclined to create Telangana. If the Congress creates Telangana and brings the Bill in Parliament, the BJP will support it. If the Congress fails to create Telangana, then the BJP will carve out Telangana State, when it comes to power in 2014.
During the meeting, the TJAC leaders briefed Rajnath Singh on the political situation in the State. The TJAC also briefed Rajnath Singh on the action programme on Telangana.
