copsHyderabad: Task Force east zone team on Friday cracked an attempt to murder case registered by Saidabad police after apprehending the two accused involved in the case. According to police, the accused Kommu Shiva Kumar (35) and Ramavath Padma (30), wife of the victim, allegedly conspired to eliminate Tara Singh near Narayana College in Saidabad on April 16. Police seized a motorcycle and a cell phone from them. Kumar, working as attender-cum-driver in the RDO office at Nampally and Padma, described as his paramour by police, allegedly stabbed Singh in the abdomen after throwing chilli powder in his eyes, resulting in serious abdominal injuries. They later sped away on the motorcycle. According to police, Kumar and Padma developed contact as their children studied in the same school. Singh found a stranger's number in his wife's cell. Since then he suspected his wife, resulting in frequent quarrels. Padma informed Kumar about Singh's 'harassment' following which they hatched the conspiracy to kill Singh. The Task Force team arrested them after analysing the call data and making discrete inquiries and handed them over to the Saidabad police. A�The arrest was made under the supervision of Additional DCP B Limba Reddy, Inspector K Srikanth and SIs A Sudhakar, V Ashok Reddy and K Kastro.
