lokHyderabad: Lok Satta Party national president Jayaprakash Narayan on Sunday expressed hope that his party's organisational elections, where were held by a secret ballot, would promote internal democracy and serve as an example to all the other political parties. He was addressing the media after casting his vote in the elections to the post of the State party president and office-bearers of the Greater Hyderabad unit. The polling for the president's election, which began in different districts on April 5 concluded on Sunday. Counting of votes will be undertaken on April 10, and the results would be announced on the same day. Jayaprakash Narayan informed that an independent Election Authority headed by Kaki Madhava Rao, the former chief secretary, conducted the elections in an exemplary manner.
