Assures them of corruption-free governance

Hyderabad: A day after Telugu Desam Party's (TDP) Mahanadu concluded, party president N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday called upon employees and educationists to join active politics and fight against corruption.

Admitting an academic, Venkata Vishwam, from Kakinada into the party, Naidu said that it was a good sign that academics and employees were taking plunge into active politics. He observed that the TDP would encourage people with good conduct as leaders in the party.

Alleging that the ruling Congress and YSRCP were encouraging corrupt persons, Naidu said that the Congress was in deep trouble because of the scams that were unearthed during the last nine years. He remarked that the only alternative in the State was the TDP.

Reiterating that his party would continue to fight against corruption until the social menace was rooted out, the TDP leader alleged that natural resources were being wrongly exploited by the ruling party leaders. Naidu added that he would bring reforms to curb corruption in the functioning of the government, if his party was voted into power in the next general elections.
