Vijayamma faces 'T' ire

Police foiled the attempt to obstruct YSR Congress honorary President YS Vijayamma's convoy by TRS workers at Uppal Cross Roads on Friday. The party leader was proceeding to Ghatkesar in Ranga Reddy district to attend party review meeting.

As soon as the convoy reached the cross roads, local TRS workers squatted on the road and shouted slogans demanding Vijayamma to spell out her party's stand on the bifurcation of state. The alert police forces immediately swung into action and dispersed the agitating workers.

Security personnel attached to the convoy shielded the vehicle carrying Vijayamma when a scuffle took place between police and T workers. The YSR party leader left the place after police cleared the road.
