Hyderabad: Legislative Council Chairman A Chakrapani on Friday administered oath to three newly elected MLCs of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi- K Swamy Goud, P Sudhakar Reddy and Mehmood Ali. Siddipet legislator T Harish Rao and other TRS leaders were also present.
Later, talking to reporters, former TNGOs chief Swamy Goud appealed to the government to constitute a special fund for the unemployed youth of the State. MLC P Sudhakar Reddy, who has been elected to the Council for the second time, stated that he would lend his voice on problems faced by teachers in 10 districts of Telangana.
Meanwhile, TRS MLA Harish Rao termed the Chief Minister's decision to revise the power tariff was just a jugglery of figures. "Kiran Reddy did not explain his stand on the all-important Fuel Surcharge Adjustment (FSA) issue," he criticised.
