V Ramu Sarma Hyderabad: Unhappy over the manner in which he was treated by the TRS and the Telangana JAC, the Telangana Nagara Samiti (TNS) leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy is mulling over the idea of joining the Bharatiya Janata Party. According to sources, Nagam has been in touch with the BJP leaders over the issue and is contemplating to contest for the Lok Sabha seat from Mahbubnagar constituency. Nagam, it is said, will announce his decision after holding consultations with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi who is likely to visit Hyderabad soon. Modi will be addressing a public meeting most probably in the city itself where important Gujaratis will be felicitated. Close associates of Nagam confirm that he has made up his mind to merge the TNS with BJP in the presence of Modi. When asked, Nagam did not deny the possibility of sailing with BJP. A He however made it clear that he was not going back to TDP, though TDP is not averse to take him back into the party fold. Nagam too has not lost his interest in TDP, but politically, he is said to be of the opinion that BJP would be more advantageous since they have a clear stand on the issue of separate Telangana.
