sfhjfhkHyderabad: The political situation in the State will witness certain moments of political turmoil and big political leaders will have to face moments of disappointment. But the brighter side of it is that the State will have ample rains, though a little late and the schemes launched by the government will benefit the people of the State, predicted the scholars who rendered Panchangam (Almanac). They also predicted that the demand for a separate T State will once again come to the centrestage and the movement will get a stimulus. They also predicted that the farmers will continue to suffer as they will not get the minimum support price. They also said that the gold prices would go up and judicial and media activism will be high. Another new feature of Ugadi celebrations at Gandhi Bhavan was that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy attended the function attired in traditional silk dhoti and kurta. The function was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha, ministers Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, Kondru Murali, D Sridhar Babu and Prasad Kumar. Former chief minister N Bhaskar Rao, former minister Shabbir Ali, Secunderabad MP Anjan Kumar Yadav and several MLAs and MLCs participated in the celebrations.
