Rajampet/Kakinada /Karimnagar/ Medak: Six persons died and more than forty persons injured in three different accidents in the State on Monday. A In Rajampet, four persons died and five others were seriously injured when a bus carrying a marriage party collided head-on with an ambulance at Nandalur Bridge in Kadapa district on Monday.

The bus carrying the marriage party from Rajampet to Nandyal collided with an ambulance carrying a patient from Kadapa to Ruia hospital, Tirupati. The patient in the ambulance, Chintakala Seshaiah and the ambulance driver died on the spot. Two more persons whose identity was not known were also killed in the accident. All the injured were taken to Tirupati for treatment. Two pastors died on the spot and four others sustained injuries two of them seriously when a private factory bus rammed into an auto rickshaw after hitting a bridge at Bhiramguda in Patancheru mandal in Medak district on Monday.

The injured were rushed to government hospital. The two pastors, belonged to Vandanapuri Colony, died on the spot. Ramachandrapuram CI Srinivasulu said that a case has been registered and investigation was on. Twenty passengers of a marriage party were injured when the bus they were travelling rammed into a stationary RTC bus at Peddur village in Siriscilla mandal in Karimnagar district.

The condition of five injured persons was stated to be serious. A Twelve passengers were injured when a lorry and an RTC bus collided on the National Highway at Chebrol in Gollaprolu mandal of East Godavari district on Monday. The injured were taken to a nearby government hospital for treatment.
