Software engineer jumps to death

A 23- year old software engineer employed with Oracle committed suicide, allegedly by jumping from her office building, a multi-storied complex in the City. Native of Bangalore, Ashwini Nairy died on the spot after falling from the seventh floor of Ananath Bhavan. Originally a chemical engineer, Ashwini joined the company on June 24 and within less than a month she ended her life. It is believed that she used to stay at hostel in Madhapur.

Daughter of a bank employee, Ashwini paid no heed to Ashabi, a sweeper who tried to stop her and watched her jumping from the gymnasium room at Seventh floor. The news of her suicide spread in the Oracle campus, making her co-workers to gather around her body. According to police, the reason behind her extreme step was yet to be known. She blamed no one for her suicide in the suicide note left by her.

The body was sent for post mortem. Police registered a case and started investigating. "Her parents have been informed about the death and they would be reaching the spot soon", the police said. "I feel like dying repeatedly. This happens in a loop. If my life is all about thinking again and again about suicide and fighting it, there is no point in living it. I am going to die. I am sorry Amma, Pappa and Adithi. No body is responsible for my death", she wrote in the note .
