Rajavommangi: In a heart-wrenching tragedy, three members of a family died one after another on the same day. This incident happened in an interior village in Rajavommangi mandal in East Godavari district on Tuesday. Poosam Raghavendra Rao (19) suddenly collapsed in the morning due to epilepsy at his grandmother's house in Lagarayi and was rushed to a hospital nearby.

On receipt of the news, his father, Poosam Satyanarayana (48), who works as a technical assistant (sericulture) in agriculture department at Rajavommangi, suffered a massive heart attack and was rushed to a hospital where he breathed his last. Meanwhile, Raghavendra who was being rushed to the same hospital died on the way.

Satyanarayana was about to realise his dreams of his seeing his two sons become a doctor and an engineer. The elder son Chandrasekhar is doing fourth year MBBS in Kakinada. Raghavendra Rao has completed Polytechnic and had just appeared for ECET for lateral admission into engineering course.

Poosam Chellayamma (70), the grandmother of Ragahvendra Rao, could not bear the news of twin tragedy. She collapsed and died.
