Hyderabad: Hundreds of employees under the aegis of Seemandhra Udyoga JAC- a new outfit, took out a rally in Secretariat on Thursday. The Seemandhra employees raising slogans “we want security” and “government should make assurances on our protection” rallied from one block to another block.

Addressing mediapersons, Seemandhra Udyoga JAC leader G Krishna said that they were not against forming of Telangana, but they were feeling insecure after the announcement. He said that the government should come out with a clarification on their protection and place of residence. He said that the employees of the Seemandhra were unable to digest separation of the state and their heart-burn needs to be addressed.

“We the employees came from various districts, joined our children in local schools and the fate of education of our kids is at shambles after the announcement”, he said, adding that the government should come out and spell out its stand on their woes immediately. Another leader Appa Rao said that the employees of Seemandhra felt Centre’s decision is all of sudden and they are worrying a lot of their future. He said that many of the employees built their houses and joined their kids in various schools here.

He said that the government should come out with concrete proposals on their security and living in the city. “Some of the employees are unable to concentrate on their work with the latest developments and it is time for the government to come forward and ease their concerns”, he added.
