Minister for Information and Public Relations D K Aruna appealed to the people to be restraint as the process for the formation of Telangana has been initiated. Talking to newsmen at the Travellers Bungalow here on Wednesday she appealed to one and all not to create misapprehensions and extend cooperation for the new State.

Minister for Information and Public Relations D K Aruna appealed to the people to be restraint as the process for the formation of Telangana has been initiated. The Minister said that UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi has taken the decision to divide the State after the Congress Working Committee discussed the issue at length.She said that it was not proper to start an agitation against the formation of Telangana at this juncture.

The Minister suggested that everyone should cooperate for the development of Telangana and should take part in the reconstruction of the region. She said that the TRS should merge with the Congress without setting any preconditions.
She said that she was confident that the formation of the State would be completed by the end of March. DCC president Obaidullah Kotwal, former MLA Chittem Ramamohan Reddy, Burri Venkatram Reddy, C J Benhur and others were present.

<p style="--"text-align:" justify;--"="">Earlier, the minister distributed tricycles and other equipment to the physically challenged persons in a programme at ZP grounds here. She appealed to the officials to make all facilities reach the physically challenged persons. She said that the DRDA should initiative to extend pensions to the physically challenged persons with 40 per cent disability.
