Minister Lakshmi Narayana Undergoes Minor urgery
Kanna Lakshmi Narayana hospitalized after swallowing Plastic Ring -Andhra Pradesh Agriculture Minister K Lakshmi Narayana underwent a minor surgery here for the removal of a small plastic ring (which binds water bottle cap with container), which he unwittingly swallowed along with water, hospital authorities said. Doctors made a hole in the abdomen and removed the plastic ring last night and after a few hours, the minister was discharged from a private hospital here.

Accompanied by Urban Development Authority chairman P Srinivas Reddy, the minister was inspecting walking track at Chuttugunta Centre here yesterday. Feeling thirsty, he opened the cap of a water bottle and gulped down the water along with the plastic ring below the cap inadvertently.
Later, when he experienced breathing difficulty and discomfort, he was rushed to the hospital. The minister has been advised to take rest for at least a week, the authorities added.
