CM lays stones for two SEZs
CM Lays Stones for Two SEZs, Aerospace and Textile Park, Whitegold Integrated Spintex Park Pvt Ltd. Chief Minister, N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday laid the foundation stones for two SEZs in Ibrahimpatnam Mandal of Ranga Reddy district.
Aerospace and Textile Parks to come up in RR district.
Chief Minister, N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday laid the foundation stones for two SEZs in Ibrahimpatnam Mandal of Ranga Reddy district.
The first one was the Whitegold Integrated Spintex Park Private Limited (WISPL) at Naganpalli and another, Samooha Aerospace Park at Adibhatla village.
Union Minister for Textiles, Kavuri Sambasiva Rao , Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Panabaka Lakshmi, Major Industries Minister Geetha Reddy and in-charge Minister for district Prasada Kumar were also present. Both the SEZs are in Ranga Reddy district. The Textile Park would come up on a 135-acre site, making it first of its kind in the state at a projected cost of Rs 108 crore.
Speaking on the occasion, the CM termed the park as a boon for the unemployed youth and women of the region. He assured that the proposal is likely to create direct and indirect employment for 5,000 persons and thanked the Centre for providing the benefits as per Scheme for Integrated Textile Park (SITP) of Government of India and Textile and Apparel Promotion Policy.
Union Minister for Textiles, K Sambasiva Rao said that the park would be completed within two years. He said that new policies are on the anvil to make all sanctions related to infrastructure.
