Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy's viit to Delhi every time sparks a rumour that he has been summoned by the Congress High Command to hand over a pink slip. However, if Digvijaya's recent statement to reporters in Delhi is anything to go by, then change of guard in Andhra Pradesh is far from reality.

The in-charge of party affairs in state, Digvijaya Singh dismissed rumours that CM Kiran would be replaced.
Speaking to media, Digvijaya expressed hope that Kiran will bow down to the diktats of the Congress High Command and stay true to the party. It's worth mentioning here that there were also reports that CM Kiran was planning to quit Congress to float his own party.

Now, it looks like that too won't happen.
Check out what Digvijaya said: "Kiran’s father was a loyal Congress man and so as the case with him. Not only Kiran, but also his whole family is staunch supporters of Congress."

One wonders if this is also his attempt to stop Kiran from having anti-party thoughts.
It's a known fact that Kiran has expressed his dissent over Centre's decision to bifurcate the state. However, Digvijaya was quick to say that such difference of opinions are common and that Kiran will abide by the decision made by the Congress Working Committee.
