Battling for life in private hospital

A final year MBBS student of a private medical college in Kolar(Karnataka), Kameswara Saiprasad, who hails from Kalwakurthy in Mahabubnagar district, was allegedly set ablaze by fellow students on Tuesday night. He is undergoing treatment in St John’s Hospital (ICU), here, with 60 per cent injuries.
The incident took place while Saiprasad was returning to his hostel room from the library. Passers-by who noticed the incident sent him to hospital. The youth is the son of Mahabubnagar District Bar Council president Lakshman Sharma, who is a practising advocate in the AP High Court in Hyderabad. His parents rushed here following information.
