Mopidevi Joins YSR Congress Party. He said many a time; he took his problems to the party members. But they did not bother to address his problem rather through a person named Ramana, the party behaved as if he did not have any relation with Congress party.

Hyderabad: The former minister in the state cabinet, Mopidevi Venkata Ramana on Friday, joined the YSRCP in the presence of the party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He arrived at the party office with many followers of him and joined the YSR Congress Party.
Later, while speaking to media he said in order to fix Jagan, the Congress party has utilized him as the hock. In order to arrest Jagan, there was a need to arrest anyone of the ministers; hence, Mopidevi said, they arrested him as he belongs to a weaker community unlike other ministers. He said it has become very difficult for him to survive in the Congress party, and hence he chose the option of joining YSRCP.

He became emotional and said nobody from the congress party supported him in the times of dire strait.
