Jagan Says, State Bifurcation Is Not Correct.. He said when the state was formed on the linguistic front, both Hyderabad and Andhra assemblies have passed the resolution

New Delhi: The YSRCP president, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday said the state bifurcation is a very big issue and the measures adopted by the ruling government are not appropriate. If this becomes a tendency, any ruling government in center will opt to divide states to get seats and votes, he said.
Just to get seats and votes, Congress party has decided to bifurcate the state and there should be a state resolution for the same, he added. He said he would jointly fight with similar parties to get the article 3 of Indian Constitution amended.
He said when the state was formed on the linguistic front, both Hyderabad and Andhra assemblies have passed the resolution; he said the great leader from Telangana, Boorgula Ramakrishna Rao had even resigned to his post for this noble cause of formation of Andhra Pradesh state.
He said at present the budget of Andhra Pradesh is the third biggest budget in India. He said what has happened in Andhra Pradesh may happen in various other states; and for the sake of votes any ruling party will divide any state drawing a single line, he added.
