New Delhi: The CPI (M) party senior leader, Seetaram Yechuri on Saturday said their party’s stand has always remained against dividing the states formed on the basis on language.
He said the YSRCP president, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had discussed on the subject matter with him. He opined if bifurcation happens in one state, more such demands will come.
After many sacrifices, the states on linguistic front have been formed; and if such states are divided, he said, there will be many unforeseen problems.
He praised the YSRCP for its stand for united Andhra Pradesh. He said when the state was formed on the linguistic front, both Hyderabad and Andhra assemblies have passed the resolution; he said the great leader from Telangana, Boorgula Ramakrishna Rao had even resigned to his post for this noble cause of formation of Andhra Pradesh state.
