Hyderabad: A young boy attempted suicide in front of a police station in Hyderabad on Saturday as he could not bear the torture of the police.
He self immolated to commit suicide. The police acted immediately and rushed him to Gandhi hospital in Hyderabad.
The victim has been identified as a convict in a theft case that took place three years before. As the crime rate has been increased in the Miyapur area, in the recent past, the police called him and interrogated.
He informed the police that he stopped all those things and he had no concern with the crimes happening in Miyapur. Despite his repeated pleadings, the police have tortured him, said the victim. He further said as there was no option he felt with him, he decided to end his life.
