Fee fixed for 71 colleges

State government has fixed an annual fee of Rs 23,000 for 68 MBA and MCA colleges; Rs 27,000 for two colleges and Rs 10,000/ for one institution for three consecutive academic years up to 2016. The fixation is, however, subject to the final verdict of the High Court which has been hearing the pleas of these private colleges.

The colleges have not furnished their data as required by the The Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (AFRC) when it sought submission of online data for recommending fee structure of all the professional colleges. As the institutions have not uploaded their data, the AFRC has not made any recommendation with respect of these colleges.

Aggrieved by not fixing the fee structure, some of the Institutions have approached the High Court seeking to include them and got an interim direction from the Court.

SV Model College of Management near Qutubullapur and SRM PG College of MCA in Chintakunta of Karimnagar district have been fixed a fee of Rs 27,000/ while Noble Institute of Science and Technology in Parawada Mandal of Visakhapatnam district was fixed a fee of Rs 10,000/.
