Union Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs, Vayalar Ravi on Monday dismissed speculation that Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy was planning to float a new party protesting against the CWC decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh.Speaking to the media, Vayalar Ravi said that the Chief Minister is a loyal Congress man and his launching a new party is a mere media speculation.
It was his personal opinion that Congress would be defeated in the upcoming elections if the Telangana state is carved out, he said.
He made it clear that Kiran will not leave Congress party and he is a disciplined party activist.
The talk in the Congress circles is that the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy was likely to launch his Seemandhra party after January 23.
