The YSRCP MLAs stormed the Speaker’s podium and raised slogans demanding that the House adopt a resolution in support of Samikyandhra.
With YSRCP members refusing to heed Speaker Nadendla Manohar's request to let the House transact its business, the session was adjourned. When it reconvened, same scenes repeated. The Speaker had no choice but to suspend the YSRCP members for a day.
