When the entire South India was in a state of shock was mourning the death of Telugu actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, the Andhra Pradesh Assembly witnessed some fireworks today.
According to reports, some Congress members objected to TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu's condolence speech. In a veiled reference to the Congress men, an angry Chandrababu screamed: "Don't talk without any sense."
This led to a debate between TDP and Congress members. Interrupting, minister Raghuveera Reddy asked them to stop disputing and instead allow condolence meet. He also appealed to the leaders to maintain some decorum.
It's worth mentioning here that the Congressmen took an exception to Naidu's speech after the TDP chief tried to claim credit for awards received by the late actor.
Naidu in his condolence speech said that ANR had recieved two awards during his regime which angered other members present in the Assembly. This was when one of the leaders said Naidu must limit his speech to a condolence message and not promote himself.
