Fake IAS officer loots devotees in name of free sevas. According to reports, a man claiming himself as an IAS officer looted several devotees with the false promise of providing VIP passes. The police arrested the culprit, Venkatrami Reddy who duped devotees with fake assurances.

According to reports, a man claiming himself as an IAS officer looted several devotees with the false promise of providing VIP passes. The police arrested the culprit, Venkatrami Reddy who duped devotees with fake assurances.
The accused promised the devotees free saves - Vastra Abhisekam, Vudayahastam Seva and looted about 16 lakhs from them. When he failed to give passes, some devotees approached the police and lodged a complaint. Following the complaint, police arrested Venktrami Reddy and seized cash worth Rs 6, 40,000, an Alto car, two cellphones, two debit cards from his possession.
