Lok Satta Party national President and MLA Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan has decided to back TDP candidates for biennial elections to fill the vacant Rajya Sabha seats.
Speaking to media at the Assembly media point, Jayaprakash said that Chandrababu Naidu had called him over the phone on Monday evening and requested him to support his party candidate in the Rajya Sabha elections.
Speculations were rife that there will be an alliance between the TDP and Lok Satta. But Jayaprakash put an end to the speculations saying his party would contest for all the seats.
The buzz in the political circles is if JP sending any indications by supporting TDP now. Meanwhile, CPI MLAs have announced that they will support TRS candidate Kesava Rao in the elections.
