19 Seemandhra, Telangana employees booked

Cases booked against Seemandhra, Telangana secretariat employees. The Saifabad police registered cases against 19 Seemandhra employees and 19 Telangana employees for fighting each other at the Secretariat Housing Society meeting held at D Block conference hall in the Secretariat on Tuesday.

The police registered two FIRs under Sections 143 and 353 of Indian Penal code against 19 Seemandhra and 19 Telangana employees.
It may be recalled that the proposed elections to the Secretariat Housing Society sparked off protest between the employees of the two regions. The employees pushed each other and came to blows yesterday and the meeting ended abruptly.
Chief secretary Mahanthy is said to be angry over the fight amongst the employees at the secretariat premises and asked the officials to lodge a complaint.
It is a known fact that with frequent bickering between the employees of the two regions, the police banned rallies, dharnas and protest meetings inside the Secretariat.
