TDP MLA Motkupalli Narasimhulu who is upset over not getting a ticket for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections, refused to see TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu eye to eye in the Assembly. But an angry Motkupalli made an attempt to meet the chief minister and Speaker.
Motkupalli who had skipped Assembly sessions for the past two days, marked his attendance today after the Telangana TDP leaders convinced him.
It is learnt that Telangana leaders tried to talk Motkupalli into meeting Chandrababu. However, he turned down their requests and slammed them instead.
Motkupalli reportedly told them that they are in a situation where even we cannot question Chandrababu on why two seats were alloted to Seemandhra leaders. After seeing Motkupalli, some Seemandhra leaders came forward to greet him but he made some sarcastic comments and evaded the meeting.

Motkupalli who was angry at one stage, was seen breaking down as talks progress in the Assembly lobby.
While speaking to several leaders at the Assembly lobby, Motkupalli could not control his emotions. At one stage, tears rolled down his face. "I was left with tears for believing in the Telugu Desam Party. To save party in the Telangana, I had to put up with severe criticizms from other party leaders. Even after all that, they did this to me. Why did they hold talks with me when they decided to give seats to other leaders?. I was subjected to humiliation at the time of selecting candidates for Rajya Sabha elections," he said. He had expected to move on to the Rajya Sabha, but injustice was meted out to him by denying him the seat, he added.
But the buzz in the political circles today is that he won't resign from the party as he is convinced with the TDP leaders' promises. Which is why he attended the Aassembly today.
Motkupalli has been sulking since Monday evening after Naidu did not nominate him for the Rajya Sabha. The senior TDP leader also indicated that he could no longer continue in the party and was mulling over joining the Congress party. It is learnt that Panchayat Raj Minister K Jana Reddy is mediating.
