Minutes after the Telangana Bill was rejected in the AP Assembly, the Telangana Rashtra Parishad party termed the rejection as invalid.
In a press note sent to the media, they outrightly rejected the move in the AP Assembly.
The resolution moved by the government rejecting the Telangana bill was put to voice vote by the Speaker when the House was not in order and when the members were not in their seats, the note said.
Hence the resolution which was approved by the positive voice vote is invalid and illegitimate since the members who affirmed there were in the well of the House. Members who participated in the vote have to be placed in their seats. However, they were in the well of the House, therefore this vote is ultra virus of the Constitution. TRP Party strongly comdemns and rejects this invalid resolution
