AP Political Scene Faces Rough Weather In Delhi. Four TDP members of Lok Sabha issued separate notices to Speaker Meira Kumar for moving a no-trust motion.
The climate is cool in Delhi, but the political steam has picked up. In yet another development, Seemandhra Telugu Desam Party leaders have issued a no-confidence motion against the Manmohan Singh government to protest the creation of Telangana state.
Four TDP members of Lok Sabha issued separate notices to Speaker Meira Kumar for moving a no-trust motion.
Soon after, Congress MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar too gave a similar notice to the Speaker seeking permission to move no-trust motion against the Centre. Vundavalli said that they were planning to issue one notice to the Speaker every day in the name of one MP. The four members of TDP who sent a joint letter to the Speaker were - N. Kristappa, M. Venugopala Reddy, K. Narayana Rao and N. Sivaprasad.
Meanwhile, Telangana TDP leaders staged a dharna at the AP Bhavan demanding the Centre to introduce the Telangana bill immediately and suspend chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.
