It is learnt that Telangana TDP forum convener, Errabelli Dayakar Rao personally requested him to use his chance. But Motkupalli turned down his requests and restricted himself to the confines of his home. (Motkupalli cries)
It may be recalled that while speaking to several leaders at the Assembly lobby, Motkupalli could not control his emotions. At one stage, tears rolled down his face. He levelled several allegations against TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu saying he was left with tears for believing in the Telugu Desam Party.
On the other hand, three rebel TDP MLAs - Harishwar Reddy, Gangula Kamalakar and Hanumantha Shinde pariticipated in cross voting and supported TRS candidate K Kesava Rao.
