Congress loyalist KVP: Strive to fulfill YSR's last wish. KVP Ramachandra Rao said that Andhra Pradesh state is going through ill-fated days after the death of YSR as no development took place in the state.

A day after he was elected to the Rajya Sabha, Congress MP and soul-mate of the late chief minister Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy, sang praises of YSR.

Speaking to the media after the felicitation meeting at Gandhi Bhavan, KVP Ramachandra Rao said that Andhra Pradesh state is going through ill-fated days after the death of YSR as no development took place in the state.
He also predicted that the Congress party is likely to taste defeat in the coming elections. He opined there's a sense of despair in Congress Party circles. However, he said that the party will certainly strengthen its base in future.
"After the demise of YSR, some leaders in the Congress party tried to stop me from entering the Gandhi Bhavan. I have contributed a lot to the development of Gandhi Bhavan. Even the flooring of Gandhi Bahavan was done in my presence.
Gandhi Bhavan is like temple to me
," KVP said.
As many people believed that KVP would join YSRCP some day, the Congress loyalist tried to put an end to all the speculations by saying he will breathe his last as a Congress man. "Congress gave everything to me. I will die as Congress man."
Being a soul mate of YSR, I will strive to fulfill his last wish, he said. Both him and YSR never made any mistakes consciously, he added.
