Smoke on Golconda Express scares passengers

Smoke billowing out from the Golconda Express in Nalgonda caused panic among passengers. However, no casualty was reported.

Some train passengers and the guard noticed the smoke and immediately alert the driver of the train. The train was stopped near Bhuvanagiri in Nalgonda district.

As news of smoke spread in the train, several passengers jumped out of the train. It is learnt that a few passengers were injured in the incident.

However, the problem was eventually rectified and the train left from Bhuvanagiri.

The latest reports coming in suggests that minutes after the train moved away from Bhuvanagiri, a passenger noticed smoke coming out of one of the bogies again. The train has been stopped near Aleru now, it is learnt.
