In a pre-dawn swoop on Monday, Seemandhra student JAC members staged a protests outside the residence of Chiranjeevi demanding his resignation in support of Samaikyandhra.

The angry student who tried to commit suicide alleged: "We have been fighting for united AP for the past four years. Despite so many students ending lives, they (union ministers) are resorting to shameless politics. At least they should wake up and send back the Telangana Bill."
Police arrested the students after the situation turned tense. It is not known if Chiranjeevi was present at his home when the protest was happening.
