No Telangana Bill today; Likely on Thursday?. the government is preparing to introduce the Bill in the Lok Sabha on Thursday.The buzz is that the Centre will place Railway Budget tomorrow and thus the chances of the Telangana Bill being introduced tomorrow are less. It has also sought the President's permission, it is learnt.
The Lok Sabha did not get to see the Telangana Bill today.
There were reports that the Telangana Bill will be introduced in the Lok Sabha first before Rajya Sabha. But Lok Sabha was adjourned till tomorrow following uproar on the Telangana issue, while the Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm.
Members from Andhra Pradesh, cutting across party lines, rushed to the Well of the House carrying placards bearing 'Jai Samaikyandhra' and 'Save Andhra Pradesh'.
Barely minutes after the House met, members favouring as well as opposing the proposed state of Telangana raising slogans trooped into the Well and disrupted the Parliament session. Seemandhra Union Ministers protested standing in their respective places.
Since there are financial matters involved in the Bill, chances of introducing the Bill in Rajya Sabha are unlikely.

The decision on introducing the Bill will be taken in the BAC meeting and also during the PM's dinner meeting with the BJP leaders.
On other hand, the Cabinet called for an emergency meeting in the evening to decide if the Telangana Bill was a financial Bill or not.
