As soon as Rajya Sabha met for the day, Seemandhra MPs including KVP and Sujana Chowdary trooped into the Well with placards bearing 'Jai Samaikyandhra' and 'Save Andhra Pradesh'.

DMK members too shouted slogans seeking India's intervention to save Tamil Nadu fishermen held by Sri Lanka.Maitreyan tore copies of bulletin and flung them towards the Chair.

Same scenes were witnessed in the Lok Sabha too. Amid uproar, both the houses adjourned till 12 pm.

On the other hand, TDP MP Modugula Venugopala Reddy and suspended Congress MP Rayapatti Samba Siva Rao separately moved a no-confidence motion against the UPA government.
