Telangana Bill: Union Ministers Join Expelled Seemandhra MPs. It is often said 'A wise learns from others' mistakes while a fool waits for his own experience.' Wonder why we are saying this? Well, we are not sure in which category to put our politicians.

Till recently, the Speaker's podium was witness to the presence of only Seemandhra MPs, but for the first time today Union Ministers too trooped into the Well of the House.

Seemandhra Union Ministers seem to be inspired from the Seemandhra MPs who got good mileage in the Seemandhra region after the Centre expelled them from the party for moving a no-confidence motion against the Congress High command.

Ministers K S Rao, D Purandeshwari, Chiranjeevi and K Surya Prakash Reddy for the first time joined the Semandhra MPs' protest and trooped into the Well of the house raising Jai Samaikyandhra slogans. (PM's responce)

As soon as Lok Sabha met after the adjournment, the ministers rushed to the Well raising slogans.Telangana Bill: Union ministers join expelled Seemandhra MPs Telangana Bill: Union ministers join expelled Seemandhra MPs

Earlier, the Seemandhra Union Ministers were seen protesting at their respective places that could not be heard in din, neither did they enter the well. However, the scene seems to be different now.

As the Telangana Bill is expected to be introduced in the Parliament in a day or two, the Seemandhra Union Ministers seems to have up the ante against the Centre's decision to divide the state. However, three union ministers - Pallam Raju, Killi Kruparani and Kishore Chandra Deo did not follow their colleagues but instead chose to protest from their seats.

Union Railway Minister Mallikarjun Kharge presented his interim Budget for the next four months in the Lok Sabha, but stopped in the middle after uproar by the Seemandhra leaders.

Interestingly, despite requests from Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Kavuri and Vizianagaram MP Botsa Jhansi protested at the Speaker's podium.

Speaking to the media after the Lok Sabha adjourned for the day, Purandeshari said she protested at the Speaker's podium to protect the rights of Seemandhra people.

"I have resigned to my Union ministry post and thus I went to the Well of the Lok Sabha. To accept or reject resignation is left to the PM's discretion," she said.
