BJP MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy Revokes Remarks Against Venkaiah NaiduAmid pressure from the BJP High Command, MLA from Mahbubnagar, Yennam Srinivas Reddy revoked his statement made against BJP national vice-president M Venkaiah Naidu.

Withdrawing his remarks, the MLA said that he had high regard for Naidu.

He also said that he learnt that the saffron party was committed to the Telangana cause only after meeting top leaders of the BJP and thus he is withdrawing his remarks.

We had reported earlier in the day that the BJP High Command was fuming over its own party MLA for his remarks against Naidu.

It is a known fact that BJP MLA from Mahbubnagar, Yennam Srinivas Reddy openly revolted against Naidu demanding that he (Naidu) clarify if he was talking in his capacity as a national leader or as a representative of Seemandhra.

He also lashed out at Naidu saying he is trying to hinder the Telangana process and working for the merger with TDP.

Taking serious exception to this, the BJP High command demanded an unconditional apology from him. It is learnt that Srinivas Reddy has been asked to apologise to Naidu in public view. The responsibility of getting an apology from Srinivas Reddy was entrusted upon BJP state president Kishan Reddy.
