Botsa to steal Kiran's loyalists?

A day after Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy held a crucial meeting at his official residence to decide his future course of action, PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana has called for a similar kind of meeting at his residence today evening.

Kiran Reddy on Sunday evening held a meeting to take a collective decision on whether he and other Cabinet members should resign now and take up the Samaikyandhra campaign under the banner of a new party. Now, Botsa Satyanarayana who skipped the CM's meeting is expected to meet the Seemandhra MLAs to persuade them not to join Kiran's proposed party.

Sources in the Congress party say that Botsa has convened the meeting to ascertain how many will quit and how many will remain in the party.

Botsa has already deliberated over the same with some prominent ministers including Kanna Lakshminarayana, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, N Raghuveera Reddy and P Bala Raju who were among those who gave CM's meet a miss. Botsa is expected to take the opinion of remaining ministers and MLAs in the evening.

The meeting agenda is to stop the leaders who are gearing up to join Kiran's bandwagon.

Meanwhile, the CM is also busy meeting several leaders including Jagga Reddy, JC Diwakar Reddy and Jayasudha to finalise his action plan. Now, it remains to be seen how many will attend Botsa 's meeting.
