Jagan Calls For Attack On Parliament, Delhi Tense. In a dramatic twist, YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called for an attack on the Parliament to oppose the division of Andhra Pradesh.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy courted arrest as he marched towards Parliament to protest the proposed bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

In a dramatic twist, YSR Congress Party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called for an attack on the Parliament to oppose the division of Andhra Pradesh.

Responding to a call given by the YSRCP chief, thousands of YSRCP activists participated in the Dharna on Monday at Jantar Mantar in the nation's capital.

Addressing the gathering, Jagan called his party members to lay siege to the Parliament. Following Jagan's call, the YSRCP activists left for Parliament.

Tension prevailed at Jantar Manthar when thousands of YSRCP supporters raising slogans of 'jai Samaikyandhra' and Sonia down down left Jantar Mantar heading towards the Parliament.

"The next three days will be very crucial for Andhra Pradesh. I don't how far they will allow us. But we will walk till Parliament," Jagan said.

Interestingly, Jagan also called his party-men to join hands with the APNGOs who are also fighting for the Samaikyaandhra cause.

Latest reports coming in suggest that the Delhi police arrested several YSRCP leaders including YS Jagan who were heading to Parliament.

Jagan termed his arrest as improper. Stating that protesting is the basic right of any person in a democracy, Jagan said that he will move the court against the police highhandedness tomorrow.

It is learnt that Jagan is presently lodged at the office of Additional DCP and likely to be shifted to Parliament street police station.

Jagan: INC is Italian National Congress

Earlier in the day, in his vehement attack against the Congress party for dividing Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan said that INC now stands for Italian National Congress.

Speaking at the Jantar Mantar, where thousands of activists from his party staged a dharna in support of Samaikyandhra, Jagan said that even the British rule was better than the present UPA rule. "The British didn't do what Sonia Gandhi did to my state. Democracy has been murdered. Someone who understands India would never do this. Whatever they're doing is for votes. None can save Congress. The party will not even get one state."

The Kadapa MP also reiterated that he is willing to support Narendra Modi. "I am willing to support anybody... Why should Modi be an exemption? Anybody who is willing to keep my state united," he asserted.

When asked about the chaos in Parliament, Jagan said: "Lagadapati Rajagopal is helped by Congress, whatever he did in Parliament he did at the behest of Congress."
