This was a direct statement from none other than Kondru Murali. Kondru was seen criticizing former chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy during his press meet and out of the blue he compared Kiran to YS Jagan.

He said that YS Jagan possess leadership qualities that Kiran Kumar Reddy lacked as a chief minister.
He asserted that the Congress High Command decided on Telangana only after several deliberations with chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy. "But Kiran provoked people with Samaikyandhra sentiment for his personal gains. Kiran betrayed the Seemandhra people in the guise of Samaikyanhdra," he alledged.
Taking a jibe at TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, the Congress minister said that the latter had given a letter in support of Telangana and and now shedding crocodile tears saying injustice is being done to Seemandhra.
Those who quit Congress party should submit their resignations to either Speaker or Governor. "Don't target the Congress party with fake resignations," he added.
