KCR welcome rally in Hyderabad: Traffic diversions

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrashekar Rao who was instrumental in reviving the Telangana cause and also responsible for pushing the Centre to grant separate statehood to Telangana, will arrive to a hero's welcome in Hyderabad.

Pro-Telangana activists, different party leaders from the Telangana region, KCR supporters and those wanting to switch their loyalties to TRS are gearing up to give KCR a rousing welcome.

A procession has been planned from Begumpet airport in Hyderabad where KCR will arrive in a private chartered flight.

In view of the rally, there will be traffic restrictions in the city.

Here are traffic divertions for all the commuters to help plan their route

• Vehicles coming from Nampally will be diverted at A.R. Petrol Pump towards BJR Statue.
• Traffic from Abids will be diverted at BJR Statue towards Basheerbagh. Vehicles from Liberty and Hyderguda will be diverted at Basheerbagh towards BJR, while traffic from Mehidipatnam will be diverted at Masab Tank towards Roads No. 1/12, Banjara Hills.
• Traffic from Roads No. 1/12, Banjara Hills, will be diverted at Masab Tank towards Mehdipatnam.
• Traffic from Telugu Talli flyover will be diverted at Iqbal Minar towards Lakdikapul and vehicles from Panjagutta and Raj Bhavan will be diverted at V.V. Statue towards.
• Traffic from Upper Tank Bund will be diverted at Telugu Talli junction. Vehicles coming from S.R. Nagar will be diverted at Greenland’s towards Begumpet flyover.
• Vehicles coming from Srinagar T. Junction will be diverted at NFCL.
• Vehicles from Railway Nilayam will be diverted at CTO towards M.G. Road and traffic from Trimulgherry and CTO flyover will be diverted at Rasoolpura towards Ministers Road.
