Pawan Kalyan in politics: Lok Satta doors open

Power Star Pawan Kalyan is back in news. This time not for his movies but because of a press note issued by his office which hints at Pawan taking the political plunge.

Till now, there were reports on and off on Pawan's entry into politics. However, the press release has made many a political parties and leaders sit up and take notice.

Among others, Pawan's political entry has evoked Lok Satta party chief Jayaprakash Narayan's interest.

Speaking to a new channel the Lok Satta leader said: "Pawan is always welcome. This is not my party but belongs to everyone. If Pawan wants to join, it's his choice the amount of time, passion and energy he can channelise to this party. I don't anyone to sacrifice their lives for the sake of party as I know it's impossible. People can work and give time as per their convenience. If they want to donate funds, they can or even propose someone else, they are free to do that too. If they are able to identify an able candidate and support them, they can do that too. There are many ways to work towards the well-being of society. If we don't introspect to understand how a country with same amount of money has progressed better than ours and work towards that, then we will remain in the same state for many more years. It's important to empower people in all spheres of life."
