Chiranjeevi's reply to Pawan Kalyan

In an emotional speech, actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi slammed Congress critics. Defending Congress decision to divide the state, he said his party had taken such a bold step only after other parties agreed to it.

In a veiled reference to his brother Pawan Kalyan, Chiru criticized his detractors. When asked to comment on Pawan's new party Jana Sena, Chiru said like every responsible citizen of this country, Pawan too had a right to float his party.

The union minister refused to comment further on Pawan's entry into politics.
