Chiranjeevi woos mega fans for Congress

Union minister K Chiranjeevi, who was recently appointed as Andhra Pradesh Congress Campaign Committee Chairman is going all out to salvage the image of the Congress party whose visibility is nearing zero in the state.

What with the party veterans deciding to switch their loyalties (read Purandeswari and Kavuri), and the sudden entry of Pawan Kalyan into the political scene made it an anti-climax for Congress which was hoping to make party fortunes turn around by granting separate statehood for Telangana.

TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao too did u-turn by refusing to merge his party with the Congress. On the other hand, Pawan openly expressed his support to BJP by endorsing Modi while also hailing TDP's Chandrababu Naidu.

Congress' only hope is Chiranjeevi who's making every effort to woo voters by justifying Congress' decision to divide the state.

At every given opportunity, Chiru is also reiterating that Congress alone should not be blamed for AP bifurcation and that every party had given its consent to the Centre's move.

Besides, Chiru is also banking big time on Mega fans to win seats for the Congress.

Now, the question is: Will Chiru's fans and supporters forgive Chiru for merging Praja Rajyam with Congress?
